Time-Series Data Ingestion Wizard

I don't have a file, how can I try data ingestion? Save locally and upload this sample .csv file with prices from IBM stock: IBM_example_file.csv .

How does my file have to be formatted? You can try to upload any comma, semi-colon, tab, pipe separated text file in any character encoding choice among: 'utf-8', 'iso-8859-1', 'ascii', 'utf-16'. The file must have at least one date column, which can be in various date formats. And must have at least one floating point column which can also be in various formats. Headers for columns are recommended, but not mandatory. The last lines can have empty rows. The line terminator can by Windows or Linux.

What you can do with this page: in this page you can upload your data for analysing and plotting: yearly seasonality, relative prices, statistical extractions such as regressions. You can upload for instance your own company private data on cost, earnings, sales and compare it with public competitor's stock prices, indicators and other. A very creative way to use this is to upload your own portfolio growth, or inflation index so you can divide every price to your inflation basket cost. You may also research the price time series for your sector supplies and create a basket of prices for them.

How is the file processed? Your file is processed entirely in your browser. The server only receives the final confirmed mapping. Old dates can be uploaded, but we will prune anything before 1990-01-01.

How to access my data? At the end of the process you receive the data series ticker names to use your data in our tools. You can also visit later the "Your Data and Recent Expressions" page from the menu to manage your uploaded datasets/files.
