Financial Analyzers

Free tools to analyze growth, dividends, and simulate portfolio rebalancing.

This page will project into the future the total growth of an investment in ficticious stock with a certain revenue growth and a certain dividend yield. We assume the dividends are reinvested at a certain parameterized rate of return, for instance your portfolio average return rate and not necessarily in the same company that paid the dividends.

This calculator can use parameters from an existing company to project its returns into the future. If you want to look back at your past investment into various companies simulating the reinvestment of the dividends I suggest you use this other technique/calculator: looking back ant Buffett's investment in Coca-Cola

Revenue data for this calculator can best be copied from Yahoo Finance.

Yearly dividend payment totals data for use in this calculator can be found on Dividend Calculator.

Average YoY Growth
Year-over-Year (YoY) growth compares a financial metric (like sales) from one period to the same period in the previous year. It helps identify trends by removing seasonal effects. This metric is for educational analysis only.

Overall Period CAGR
Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) is the theoretical steady growth rate at which an investment would have grown if it grew at a constant rate each year. It smooths out the volatility of periodic returns.

Current Yield: -
Adjusted Yield: -
Notice that the dividend yields above are calculated based on the average of past dividends. If your stock has for instance an increasing dividend trend, this average will subestimate the dividend yield. To estimate dividend yields using regression and therefore taking a trend into account, try our Dividend Calculator . (opens in a new window)
